To Blog or not to Blog...

I have been sitting here thinking that instead of bombarding every person in my address book with emails chock full of YET MORE baby pictures, boring family updates and the latest in grainy, difficult to see videos..I would blog them instead. Now YOU the lucky viewer can just come here at your leisure and see what is new with the Ohlund Four. And this way, you can pretend you have been reading along the whole time..just in case there is a quiz. Let me know what you think!

Todays goodies:

Lilah ate her first "real food" last night! At the urging of her doctor we decided to start her on cereal. She has just about doubled her birthweight and just isn't satisfied with plain old bottles anymore! She will be 16 weeks on Tuesday and an official 4 months old on the first. We began by attempting to put her in her in her bouncy seat (no, we still have not found a suitable highchair!) but she hates that damn seat and wanted no part of it. SOOO Daddy put her on his lap and let the feeding begin! She was insatiable! She loved it and when she was finished she decided Babas were crap and she would prefer some steak & potatoes instead. But alas, a bottle was all that could be found.

Now just in case you can't get the full effect from the photos, here is one of those fabulous, barely audible videos I know you love (accompanied by Kyles Oh So Sexy, hairy italian legs):

Makalei has been waiting patiently for Lilah to start eating "cereal" so you can imagine her dismay when instead of seeing a bowl of lucky charms parked in front of the baby, there was this nasty, ricey, infant mush. She was not nearly as impressed with Lilahs talent for swallowing this so called cereal as she would have been had it contained brightly colored, questionably edible marshmallow goodness in all shapes and colors. Maybe next week...
